Taijiquan practice has been proven to provide improvements in balance, posture, anxiety, joint stabilization, standing core strength, and consequent pain reduction.  It also trains relaxed focus, an imperative for personal health in the stresses of modern world.  CoG studies the accessible, yet challenging Yang form of Chen Pan Ling, the "99 Form".  

 

Arnis

Arnis is the Filipino Art of Weaponry.  Teaching fundamental footwork, directional striking and blocking, deception, targeting, and fighting strategy, Arnis gives us the ABC's of real-world personal combat through safe drills and exercises.  Training begins with one stick, and eventually progresses to dual wielding with different length blades.  CoG offers Panandata Arnis. Chris was granted the title Guro in 2015 by Grandmaster Amante Marinas, after personal instruction since 2005.
